We've furnished and stocked the Wandering Elk Cabin with our guests and ourselves in mind. We're here as many as 3 days a week, so it is critical that we get a good night's sleep.

Normally, we prioritize the local community when it comes to shopping for furniture and cabin supplies, but this was one case where Costco had the most comfortable and most conveniently sourced bedding.

We tried almost every mattress, cooling mattress pad and sheet set except the Purple bed and Boll & Branch sheets, (the company who advertises, "the last 5 US Presidents have slept on Boll & Branch Sheets"!)

We think you'll enjoy a great night's rest on the Novaform blended foam and traditional 14 inch mattresses topped with dense, thick, cooling mattress pads.

The Bunk House Hideaway Sleeping Space behind the 2-sided fireplace is a great getaway for teens.

Jane's Favorite

My Mom loved the serenity of this small bedroom. You'll love all the natural light. Too bright? Just close the blackout curtains.

Loft Suite Bedroom

The Loft Suite offers plenty of space spread out. If YOU booked the reservation, you should claim the Loft Suite before any of your other guests get a chance to claim it!

A Private Space with Back Yard Views of Ponderosa Pines ... & Elk! There's plenty of entertainment inside and the forest awaits right outside the French Doors.
